Has a deep purple fragrant flower that is very large and a single floret. This is a common lilac that is easy to grow and prefers sun, but will tolerate light shade with well drained soil. Is disease resistance when planted in full sun. Prompt removal of faded and spent flowers will increase blooms for the following year. Mature height 10 to 12 feet and spreads 8 to 10 feet wide.
