The Garden Factory understands the importance of supporting the children in our community, and has built our Fall Family Fun Days around this belief. Throughout or 38 years in business, the Garden Factory family has found numerous ways to make a difference in the lives of children in our local community. Currently we welcome the opportunity to become contributing members to the 2012 Golisano Children's Hospital's $100 Million Campaign.
Please join us September 29 & 30 from 11:00am to 4:00pm to kick-off this year's Fall Family Fun activities with a weekend devoted to fundraising for the Golisano Children's Hospital. On top of the special events and visitors coming specifically for our Golisano Fundraiser, we will have the rides, games, arts and crafts that we have featured throughout the month at Fall Family Fun. Brady Davern's Story
A note from Brady's family:
We always knew that the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong had an amazing reputation, but until our son underwent surgery at just one day old did we experience first hand, the level of care they provide to the patients and families that they serve. Brady was born with a diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and needed emergency surgery at just one day old. He spent 22 days in the NICU at Golisano Children's Hospital before he was able to go home.
As Brady grows up, we want him to understand and appreciate the role that the Golisano Children's Hospital has played in his life. We knew about The Garden Factory's involvement with fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness and other worthy causes, so we felt that a fundraising collaboration would be a great fit. We look forward to this opportunity to give back to a cause so near and dear to our hearts.
We encourage others from our local community to come show their support for the Golisano Children's Hospital the weekend of September 29 & 30. It is sure to be a fun-filled weekend event with great food, rides and activities - all for a great cause!

Food Truck Rodeo!
A Food Truck Rodeo is a great event which gives the public the opportunity to sample a variety of foods from multiple mobile restaraunts, all in one location - and for a good cause!
The entire 15% vendor fee normally charged to each food truck will be donated directly to Golisano Children's Hospital. That means 15% of your purchase at any of the food trucks
will be a donation!

Face Painting!
We are glad to welcome back Freckles and Friends, who will be providing facepainting and balloon art entertainment for the kids! All proceeds from these activities will be donated directly to the Golisano Children's Hospital.
Rides & Crafts!
Don't forget about the rides! Back for another year are your favorite carnival style kid's rides including: Merry Go Round, Ferris Wheel, Turbo Tubs, Bounce House and Rapid Slide! New this year we will have two rides for the adults - the Extreme and the Round-Up! We will also have many crafts to participate in including: Decorate a Pumpkin, Make a Bug Jar, Sand Art & much more.
Giving Back
A portion of proceeds from selected products throughout our store and nursery will be donated to The Golisano Children's Hospital. As the event draws near, this space will be updated with the variety of plants we will have that qualify. |
